Dal 7 febbraio al 5 maggio, lo spazio TENT di Rotterdam presenta la la prima mostra personale in Olanda degli artisti Libia Castro & Ólafur Ólafsson, intitolata Asymmetry, che raccoglie la loro produzione video, installazioni e progetti di sound art dell’ultimo decennio. Il lavoro di Libia Castro & Ólafur Ólafsson investiga il modo in cui la vita, la società e l’individuo sono influenzati dai fattori socio economici e politici. La presentazione è curata da Adam Budak. Asymmetry comprende anche il video musicale Caregivers and Lobbyists, e le campagne Il Tuo Paese Non Esiste (Your Country Does not Exist) e ThE riGHt tO RighT. ‘ThE riGHt tO RighT’, lanciata durante la settima Biennale di Liverpool nel 2012.

From February 7th to May 5th, TENT (Rotterdam) presents the first comprehensive solo exhibition in the Netherlands by the Rotterdam-Berlin based artists Libia Castro & Ólafur Ólafsson. Their survey exhibition in TENT, titled Asymmetry gathers video-based, installation, sound and sculptural projects from the last decade. Libia Castro & Ólafur Ólafsson’s work can be regarded as an ongoing investigation of the way in which life, society and the individual are influenced by socio-economic and political factors.
