Bloomberg New Contemporaries returns to ICA, London
Manuela Contino | 27/11/2012Dal 27 novembre al 13 gennaio, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, la più importante organizzazione inglese che supporta l’arte dagli istituti d’arte della Gran Bretagna, ritorna all’ICA per il terzo anno. Il comitato di selezione di quet’anno composto da Cullinan Richards, Nairy Baghramian, e Rosalind Nashashibi hanno scelto una serie di lavori realizzati con media differenti (fotografia, videoarte, pittura), tra oltre 1200 candidature provenienti dagli istituti d’arte inglesi. Gli artisti selezionati per questa edizione sono: Jennifer Bailey, Jack Brindley, Jamie Buckley, Anita Delaney, Bryan Dooley, Freya Douglas-Morris, George Eksts, Natalie Finnemore, Nicola Frimpong, Salome Ghazanfari, Lauren Godfrey, Sarah Jones, Suki Seokyeong Kang, Piotr Krzymowski, Tara Langford, Tony Law, George Little, Evariste Maiga, Jan May, Nicole Morris, Oliver Osborne, Jennifer Phelan, Polly Read, Emanuel Röhss, Max Ruf, Simon Senn, Jackson Sprague, Samuel Taylor e Tyra Tingleff.

From 27 November 2012 to 13 January 2013, Bloomberg New Contemporaries, the leading UK organisation supporting emergent art practice from British Art Schools, returns to the ICA for the third year running. This year’s selectors Cullinan Richards, Nairy Baghramian, and Rosalind Nashashibi have chosen defining works from a variety of media (photograph, videoart, painting) by the most promising artists coming out of UK art schools from a range of over 1,200 submissions.
